Sariah Bastian, E-RYT 500, 1200 Yoga Therapy, Back Pocket Yoga Studio Owner, Author

I began studying yoga in 2006 and in 2012, studied and completed my first 1000 hour yoga therapy training with Dana Baptiste at Centered City Yoga. In 2014 I retrained the entire 1000 hours and added on another 200 - completing my 1200 Yoga Therapy Certification in September 2017. I registered with Yoga Alliance to become a 200hr Yoga School in 2018 and since then, have taught six groups and over 60 women how to teach yoga from their heart.

I love yoga. Yoga has saved me over and over again, and, on a daily basis I use the tools and ethical principals yoga teaches. I always "jokingly" say, I am yoga, and yoga is me. We cannot be separated for I live yoga to my best ability. This includes standing up for myself and knowing myself. And, also, being humble to continue to widen as I recognize where I can grow.

Teaching others how to teach yoga is a passion and joy. It is the most fulfilling opportunity to show others the path to themselves, so they can in turn, introduce the path so others can find themselves.

I love to learn. I love to laugh. I love to create. And, I love to spend time with my family (especially outdoors).

Jenny Lopes YT500, YACEP, Certified Beyond Breath & Meditation Coach

Jenny began practicing yoga in 2014 and quickly fell in love with it. Noticing how it allowed her more freedom in her mind and body, she wanted to pursue sharing it with others. Her passion for yoga continues to grow as she continues to learn. Jenny believes that yoga is the study of oneself and that is it a spiritual path.

Jenny completed her first 200 hour training at CorePower Yoga in 2016. She completed her 300 hour training at Inbody Academy with a focus on yoga therapeutics. She has done 180 hours of intensives and continued education and trained as a Beyond Breath instructor in 2020.

She honors the opportunity to lead others on their path to become & further their knowledge as a yoga teacher. She has been co-leading teacher trainings since her first 200 hour training in 2016. She considers herself a forever student of the practice and is enthusiastic to share the emotional, spiritual, and physical benefits of a yogic lifestyle.

Jenny is a mother to two young babes and outside of the studio, loves being outdoors, reading, and enjoying time with family.

Katy Willis, YT980

Katy Willis (AKA "Siri Dharma Kaur") lives in Brigham City, Utah with her husband, Mark, and their 4 energetic children. She is a full-time homeschooling mom. On the side, Katy works with brain wellness clients using a protocol called Quantum Neuro Reset Therapy. She also enjoys sharing yogic lifestyle principles and experiences with adults and children.

Katy found yoga in 2012 while wrestling intensely with PTSD-like symptoms and depression in the aftermath of betrayal trauma. Yoga immediately felt like "coming home!" Yoga not only helped her integrate the trauma, but it has also been the catalyst for propelling her forward in her quest for deeper spirituality. The more she kept moving and meditating on her mat, the more her desires to share these discoveries with others grew and deepened.

Katy was privileged to study with Sariah Bastian at Back Pocket Yoga for 200-YTT as well as teaching Sariah's Beyond Breath course.

Additionally, her teacher-training journey has included: Kundalini Yoga & Meditation (500 YTT anticipated 2022), Yin Yoga, Karma Kids Yoga with additional training in yoga therapy for kids who have been through trauma, Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga, and SuperHealth. SuperHealth blends the ancient sciences of Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, and healthy eating habits with psychology to support addiction recovery.

Katy was also trained by: Staci Bina with Bala Shala Kids Yoga and Joanne Llyod with YoginiKids; Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Wah Kaur Khalsa, and Sarah Kamrath for Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga; Mukta Kaur Khalsa, Suchas Kaur, and Harsimrit Kaur Khalsa for SuperHealth; Claire Green from Akira Yoga for Yin Yoga; Siri Marka Singh Khalsa, Dharam Dev Kaur Khalsa, Dr. Siri Atma Singh Khalsa, Nam Kaur Khalsa, Guru Amrit Hari Kaur Khalsa, Nam Joti Kaur, Karta Purkh Kaur Khalsa, Hari Kaur, Khushbir Singh, Guruprasad Singh, Nirmal Singh Khalsa, and Dr. Hari Dass Kaur Khalsa for Kundalini Yoga. Katy loves passing on to her students the combined legacies from all her incredible trainers as well as weaving in her own hard-won wisdom and insights as they apply to individual spiritual progression. Katy is on this planet to help people become more conscious, find Jesus Christ, and heal from trauma.

Lauren Davey, YT1300

After personally experiencing the healing transformation of yoga and meditation in her own body and mind, Lauren knew she wanted to share these benefits with others. Her first 500 hours of yoga teacher training were focused on the teachings of BKS Iyengar and Ayurveda. She completed another 500 hours of yoga teacher training based on the teachings of Sri K Pattabhi Jois's Ashtanga Vinyasa in contemporary application. Beyond that, Lauren has completed several continued education trainings and studied in 1:1 apprenticeships with a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and an Ayurveda Practitioner to further her understanding of yoga for health and wellness.

Since she began teaching in 2015, Lauren has dedicated over 4000 educational and teaching hours exceeding the highest regard of designation set by the Yoga Alliance. She is continuously committed to gaining more knowledge and experience to offer her clients something truly special, beyond expectations.

March 23 -1-8.jpg

Lauren spent her first 4 years teaching therapeutic styles in a medical wellness clinic and describes herself as a very gentle teacher.  She then spent 2018-2020 traveling and working with retreat venues across the USA, and has since started her own freelance yoga teaching business specializing in workshops, events, continued education, and mini retreats.  Lauren has worked with clients from infant to elderly, physically disabled to professional athletes. She is particularly passionate about empowering women and teaching mental wellness techniques to children. She takes a holistic approach of body, mind, and spirit to curate experiences that are healing, renewing and transformative.

Lauren’s earnest goal and ultimate purpose as a yoga teacher is to make the world a better place for her daughter, Violet, (through a sort of butterfly-effect) by helping others find healing and happiness through yoga and meditation.  The two of them enjoy making art, hiking, kayaking, skiing and traveling to National Parks together.

Kinley Moss, YT1100

Namasté! My name is Kinley and I Love Life, Love, the mountains, service, my pup and God! I am So grateful I, a spiritual being, get to live on Earth and have human experiences through a body! A few years ago I was launched head first into a journey of healing and self discovery with NO comprehension of where I had just been planted. The truest form of me began to stir. It was Not easy, but I would do it again, all of it, to gain all I have gained: the greatest being, myself.

In 2017 I took the Beyond Breath course with Sariah Bastian. Between 2017-2018 I took Beyond Breath 4 more times! Through it, I was finding myself. I came home to my body after living as if it was the enemy my entire life.

In 2018 I did my first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Sariah Bastian at Back Pocket Yoga with NO intention of being a teacher and fully focused on finding further healing in my body, mind, and spirit.

Quickly after, in 2019 I took my 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Brittany Andrews at The Yoga Underground learning all different types of yoga through the Ashtanga lineage in the only Tanhā studio in Utah! That same year, I took the Beyond Breath Course Teacher Training with Sariah Bastian, to teach the course that changed my life.

In 2020 I began my Masters Program for Clairvoyance with Debra Katz at The International School for Clairvoyance. My intention was to learn energetic boundaries so my sponge-like empathy could be tamed! I have expanded and learned everything from remote viewing to past-life readings and communications with spirit guides.

In 2021 I took my Second 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Sariah Bastian at Back Pocket Yoga. It was so transformative I went back for seconds! Simultaneously, I certified as a Yoga Nidra Teacher with Scott Moore.

I have been teaching for 4 years and currently teach the Beyond Breath course daily to groups ranging from teens to seniors. I also partner with Addo Recovery and Bloom for Women teaching intensives to people from all around the United States, offering the idea that their body is on its own healing journey too.

I have evolved from the unbeliever, unable to even say the word YOGA, to the believer who teaches from experience. I believe I am wise not for my knowledge of things, but for my knowledge of self - living curiously as an Eternal Student of The Universe!
